A small-group, high-support GCSE Maths course running February–June, designed for students already working at Grade 6+ who want a realistic, supported pathway to Grades 8 or 9.
Who this course is for?
This programme is suitable for students who:
-
Are currently achieving around a Grade 6 or higher in GCSE Maths
-
Are motivated to aim for Grades 8 or 9
-
Can commit to consistent attendance and regular independent work
-
Benefit from structure, feedback, and accountability
This is not a remedial course. It is an acceleration and refinement programme for students capable of top grades with the right support.
What the course includes
✔ Two 90-minute live sessions per week (small groups, max 10 students)
✔ 54 hours of structured teaching focused on Grade 8/9 content and exam technique
✔ Daily revision and practice tasks, all marked with feedback
✔ Regular progress reviews against Grade 8/9 criteria
✔ Additional 1:1 or micro-group support where required (included)
✔ Uninterrupted delivery through school holidays to maintain momentum
Why this course is different
Most GCSE Maths tuition:
-
Pauses during holidays
-
Relies on weekly sessions alone
-
Offers no clear accountability
-
Leaves progress to chance
This course is different because it:
-
Runs continuously during the most important exam window
-
Tracks attendance, work completion, and progress
-
Intervenes early when gaps appear
-
Focuses relentlessly on exam performance at Grades 8 and 9
The Grade 8/9 Guarantee (How it works)
We are confident in the structure and support of this programme, which is why we offer a Grade 8/9 Guarantee.
If a student:
-
Meets the entry requirement (minimum Grade 6 standard)
-
Attends at least 90% of all sessions
-
Completes all assigned work
-
Attends any additional support sessions assigned
and still does not achieve a Grade 8 or 9 in their final GCSE Maths examination, we will refund the tuition fees paid, in line with our published Terms & Conditions.
The guarantee removes financial risk — not the need for effort.
Full terms are available and form part of the enrolment agreement.
